Your numbers. Your progress.
If you log your walks, you can see in black and white how much exercise really adds up. Barnaby turns every walk into clear statistics, keeps the routine alive with weekly goals, and celebrates your milestones with achievements – no clutter, no distractions.
Every walk becomes a statistic
As soon as you finish a walk, Barnaby works it out for you: distance, duration, pace per kilometre and elevation. All figures appear in tabular numerals that always line up neatly and stay easy to read – even out in the sun.
Week, month, year
Barnaby sums up your walks automatically. In the weekly, monthly and yearly overview you see at a glance how your week went, whether this month beat the last and how your pace has developed over time. Individual walks turn into an honest overall picture.
- Weekly view: a bar per day, so you spot gaps immediately.
- Month & year: the big line – are you keeping it up or is the routine falling asleep?
- Pace trend: how fast you were going, walk after walk.
- Time of day: whether you’re early birds, midday strollers or midnight walkers.
Weekly goals keep the routine alive
A goal gives the week structure. Set how many walks, kilometres or hours you want to reach and track live how close you are. And because consistency matters more than the one long walk at the weekend, “we really should again” turns into a reliable “every day”.
Achievements for the good moments
From your first kilometre to the midnight walk to your hundredth round: Barnaby unlocks badges when you reach something special. Small rewards that show how far you’ve already come – and make you want to head out for the next walk.
Health hints with a sense of proportion
On request, Barnaby puts your activity in context: based on your dog’s breed, age and weight, the stats tab gives rule-based hints on whether the amount of exercise is rather low, about right or high. That helps you get a feel for the right level – especially for puppies, seniors or very active breeds.
Exportable — your data belongs to you
Your numbers belong to you. Every walk can be moved into apps like Garmin Connect via GPX or CSV export, and you can delete your entire account and all its data at any time. How Barnaby protects your home along the way is explained on the Home Zone & privacy page.
